As I was out taking photos in downtown Sioux Falls this last weekend, I was quickly reminded of some of the amazing historic buildings that the city is blessed with. My short photo tour through the area quickly turned into a pleasant afternoon where I was fully able to enjoy and embrace all the area has to offer. Later, looking through my photos, I was curious as to how many buildings in town are actually on the National Register of Historic Places. Needless to say, I was pleasantly surprised at just how many listings our city bestows. 
Take some time to check it out and you may also be impressed by how many places in and around Sioux Falls have made it onto the National Register. Sioux Falls really does have many great things to offer and sometimes we just need a reminder to look for things a little closer to home.
