New Service Coming to Downtown Sioux Falls

by Missy Kitzman on July 22, 2010

I am extremely excited about the new “Pedicab” service starting tomorrow in downtown Sioux Falls.  While I have often eyed this unique form of transportation on my travels, I have never had the experience of actually riding in one.  Now I have absolutely no reason not to give it a whirl and support a local entrepreneur – Harold Christensen.

Harold Christensen of Sioux Falls Pedicab will be making a continuous loop through downtown on Friday evenings between 5-8:30pm, or can be summoned as needed to transport you to your location. His pedicab can carry two to three passengers at a time. The rate is $8.50 per person per mile ($0.61 per block) and includes 6.00% sales tax.

Park your car once and then enjoy a fun and unique ride to your other downtown dining and entertainment destinations!

Destinations on the loop:

Wild Sage Grille
Sanaa’s
Falls Landing
Grille 100
Phillips Avenue Diner
Parker’s
Mama’s Ladas
Minervas
Café 334
Leonardo’s
